If you would like to submit a blood sample for haematological analysis, there are two options:<\/p>\n
Option 1: Sampling by Poulpharm<\/h3>\n
Contact one of our species specialists to arrange blood collection from the animal(s) of interest. Our team can provide guidance on sampling procedures, sample handling, and test selection to ensure optimal results.<\/p>\n
Option 2: Send Your Sample Directly<\/h3>\n
Submit a minimum of 500 \u00b5L of whole blood<\/strong> collected in an EDTA tube (purple cap)<\/strong> together with the completed request form (insert link).<\/p>\nSample Requirements<\/h3>\n
To ensure the highest analytical quality, fresh blood samples are preferred. If immediate shipment is not possible:<\/p>\n
\n- Store samples refrigerated at 2\u20138\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Samples should reach the laboratory within 48 hours of collection<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Do not freeze whole blood samples.<\/li>\n
- To prevent clot formation, gently invert the tube several times immediately after collection and again before shipment.<\/li>\n
- Ensure that samples are correctly labelled and packaged to avoid transport-related damage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
